Cleaning, Exam, X-Ray & Fluoride
Teeth Cleanings & Exams
Receiving a pediatric dental cleaning and exam every 6 months will keep your child’s mouth healthy. We know dental visits may seem like a chore, but our dental team is committed to making sure your child is smiling the whole time!
If your child is not receiving enough fluoride, we may recommend a pediatric fluoride treatment to keep your loved ones mouth healthy and strong. Treatment only takes a few minutes and can easily be performed during their check up.
Pediatric sealants are a smart way to combat cavities early on. Sealant treatment is easy and only requires one visit! We place small plastic coatings over your child’s molars to void off bacteria and decay.
Fillings & Crowns
When bacteria reaches your child’s tooth, a pediatric filling or pediatric crown may be recommended. Fillings are generally used post cavity to restrict decay and crowns are usually provided after root canal therapy to restrengthen the tooth.
When it comes to pediatric root canal therapy, you are in good hands with Dr. Haman and her dental team. We provide sedation options to ensure your child is relaxed during treatment.
It is not uncommon for children’s teeth to need to be removed. In most cases, Dr. Haman strategically removes baby teeth in order to promote proper alignment of permanent teeth when they grow in. Fortunately, it’s an easy procedure for children.
Sedation for Kids
We understand that dental visits can be a little nerve racking when you are young, which is why we provide pediatric sedation options for dental procedures. We can help you determine if laughing gas or oral sedation is right for your child.
We offer orthodontic treatment, for both phase 1, for younger children, and phase 2, for children whose permanent teeth have grown in. Braces are the most common way we treat misaligned teeth.
If your child is experiencing a dental emergency, it’s important to act quickly. That’s why we prioritize our emergency patients by getting them into our office as soon as possible.
